French Opportunities
The House of Commons Page Program is a unique learning opportunity steeped in Canadian tradition. Each year, 40 bilingual students from across Canada are chosen to come live the action on Parliament Hill in Ottawa by assisting Members of Parliament and other House Officials with their work in the House of Commons.

This summer program runs for six weeks and is aimed at students who are 16 and 17 years of age. The goal of the program is for participants to find jobs in another province to work on their second official language. Participants will be set up with a host family over the course of the program. Are you between the ages of 15 and 19 with an interest in how the Canadian parliamentary system of government functions? This program gives students from all across Canada a chance to come to Ottawa to learn about the role of Parliament and the dynamics of the decision-making process.
