Please be aware that to get the most up-to-date information on eligibility and deadline dates it is best to go right to the sponsor of the scholarship.  Some change year to year and this site’s purpose is to provide you with a glimpse of all the different scholarships out there to further investigate.

Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions offer a variety of different scholarships to attract students to their campus.  All three major institutions in Saskatchewan offer Centennial scholarships based on marks.  Therefore, it is important to do the best you possibility can do, to assist in getting a higher average.  It would be beneficial to research how post-secondary schools calculate their averages and with what class while you are in grade 10 and 11 so you can plan what you need to do.

Aboriginal Scholarships 

This link provides a list of websites that focus on Aboriginal scholarships and awards.  There is also a variety of scholarships available to graduating grade 12 students listed with deadline dates. 

Women, Disability & Minority Scholarships 

If you are a woman going into non-traditional fields you may be eligible for a variety of scholarships, as well as students with physical or learning disabilities.  The more research you do the more scholarships, awards and bursaries you will find! 

Scholarships for students from grade 9 – 12 

You don’t need to be in Grade 12 to be eligible for money.  If you are willing to write essays and work hard in finding the scholarships there is money to be made.  This link provides a start to your search.  Hint - Scholarships are not just about the marks but it does help.  The majority of post-secondary institutions provide early scholarships for students who are on honour roll and above as a grade 11 student.  Research the schools you are interested in to find out more about these opportunities. 

Vanier Collegiate Scholarship and Awards  

Vanier offers a large amount of scholarships and awards to the students each year at commencement.  To view a list of the variety of scholarships go to the link above.  Remember graduating students if you want to be eligible for some of these scholarships you will need to complete the Vanier General Scholarship Application Form.  It is also important to remember there is a number of scholarships listed that require their own application form.
