Graduation/Transcripts

SASKATCHEWAN LEARNING OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

1.  To request your transcript you will need to contact Student Services with the Ministry of Education.

2.  There will be a form that will need to be completed -  form. Make sure to check off option 2, Saskatchewan Learning will then send in your transcript to the necessary schools after first and second semester for only $15.

3.  There will also be a $15 per institution fee (SIAST is the exception – you just need to send one transcript even  if you are applying to more than one program or campus).

Departmental Exams
Departmental Examinations are administered by the Ministry of Education for Grade 12 students instructed by non-accredited teachers or to students who did not pass the course the first time around and would like to challenge the exam. These examinations are written in January, June, and August of each year. Limited sessions are also available in March, May, and December.  For more information please see your guidance counsellor to register for departmental exams.  Prototype exams can be found here.

Summer School – Regina Public School (Grade 9 – 12 and Adult Classes)
Early registration typically takes place before mid-June.  For early registration out of town students must have the Principal’s signature and Parent’s signatures as well as their Ministry of Education I.D. number included with the registration form.  Tuition fees range from $140 – 250 depending on the grade level.  Subjects range science, social studies, math, and a variety of sciences.

Adult Secondary Completion (Adult 12)
Under Adult 12 Policy, an adult may attain a Grade 12 standing by taking 7 credits as stated below. Prerequisite requirements are waived for adults. Credits may be attained by taking the course from a Saskatchewan secondary school or a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution approved to offer secondary level courses.  Adults also have the option of challenging a departmental examination.
